The connection between your mind and body can open gateways to a sense of inner peace and overall well-being. I offer a creative, experienced and informed approach to counseling for anyone in need of listening, support and non-judgmental guidance.
Talking to a trusted person is one way to connect with the part of you that knows how to heal. An additional option is to explore an embodied approach that uses gestures, physical movement, colors, images and possibly dreams to access new pathways to understanding and growth. By accessing more of yourself through mindfulness-based practices, you lay the groundwork to truly learning about yourself and your relationships. It is from this place that lasting change and resiliency occurs. These methods have been rigorously studied by leaders in the field of psychology and have shown to be very effective for many challenges, especially anxiety, trauma, grief and loss.
The Studio is now on-line, offering supportive 1:1 counseling via tele-health as well as on-going classes and group support. You are invited to walk through the gate toward exploration and hope.

I am a licensed mental health counselor, yoga educator and Master’s degree level Dance/Movement Therapist. In one-one sessions or small groups, I weave together these modalities to tailor an approach to counseling that is as unique as you are. With experience and training in the field for almost 20 years, I am honored to continue to bear witness to those I serve. With non-judgement and deep respect for your journey, I aim to provide practical tools for honest improvements to stress, emotional/and physical pain, and can help guide to living life with a sense of wholeness.
